The Art of Buying

We're not like most other stores, and we look forward to welcoming you in our store. If you've never been here before, here are a few things you should know about us before your first visit:

  • All items are sold as-is and all sales are final. Bring your measurements and be sure of what you’re buying.
  • We’re a self-service store. Be prepared to shop and load yourself. That’s one way we’re able to offer a $300 door for only $175.
  • We accept cash, MasterCard, VISA and Discover (credit and debit cards). No checks accepted.
  • We do not hold items without full payment.  Please see the store manager for more details.

Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity Restore is open to the public.  We divert thousands of tons of usable materials from the local landfills by selling the merchandise at deep discounts.   In 2010, the Gloucester County Habitat for Humanity Restore was able to keep 303,250 pounds out of our local landfills.  Donated building materials, home furnishings and appliances fund the construction of simple, decent and affordable housing for families in Gloucester County.

Many of the products found in Restore are similar to those in home improvement, hardware, big box stores and furniture stores.  Although the types and quantities change, based upon donations, most customers find that the great prices make the visit worth the trip…. The best kept secret of savvy bargain shoppers!!

Restores serve the Habitat mission by raising additional funding to support an affiliate's house building goals.  In addition, HFH Restores have an opportunity to serve a broader base of the community by providing low-cost materials.  HFH Restores also help to divert reusable construction and household materials from landfills.
